These terms cover the use of the Legacy Quoting Tool, a private working tool operated by Billy Ballut, a licensed health-insurance broker. Using the tool means accepting them.

Who may use it

Access is granted person by person by the broker and can be withdrawn at any time, without notice and for any reason. Accounts are personal. Do not share your access, and do not let anyone else work under your name.

What the tool is

It is a research and preparation aid. It reads plan documents the broker has loaded and shows what those documents say. It does not sell insurance, it does not bind cover, and it does not decide whether anybody is accepted.

Nothing the tool shows is an offer, a quote you can rely on, or a promise of cover. Every figure, benefit and exclusion must be confirmed against the carrier's own current documents and the carrier's own decision before it is repeated to a client.

Your responsibilities

Work only where you are licensed, and only in the way your licence and your carrier appointments allow.
Check anything you are going to say to a client against the carrier's own document first.
Handle client information properly, including any applicable privacy and health-information law in your state.
Do not copy, republish or pass on the plan documents, the loaded data or the tool itself to anybody outside the team.

Google Calendar

Connecting a Google account is optional. If you connect one, the tool reads your calendar to show it and can create events you ask it to create. It does nothing else with your Google account. You can disconnect at your Google account permissions at any time. How that information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

The assistant

The tool includes an assistant that answers from the loaded documents. It can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for reading the document. It gives no legal, tax or medical advice, and it does not make recommendations on your behalf.

Availability

The tool is provided as it is. It may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time. No guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose is given, and to the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss arising from its use.

Ending access

The broker may end your access at any time. Your obligations about confidentiality and client information continue after your access ends.
